New Newsy Cap, whatcha think?

Saw the post by igasho on the pork pie hat and thought I'd see what y'all think about my new newsy.

I had been thinking about getting a Newsy as it is a bit more classy than a baseball cap but not as formal as a fedora, but fedoras are adaptable also.

I was talking to another investigator that was wearing an Ivy cap and he really liked it. He said he bought it when he was living in Dallas and it didn't give him "hat hair." I was a little suspicious about that claim and I asked SWMBO for a wool one for my bday,and... got it.

He was right...hat hair is at a minimum, if at all.

So, do you think it is an appropriate attire for a walk in the countryside?

Very nice. I've toyed with the idea of getting a flat cap or two for winter to rotate with the fedora but never gotten around to it. Perhaps in the coming winter.

I just bought an ivy cap as well. It doesn't make me look half as classy as you, but it does keep my head warm!

And not to forget, dry. Tweed really is a fantastic material and it seems to combine well with most any style.

Just bought one of these myself...got one of the baggier ones vs tighter.
