Continuing with the item of the week theme, this week brings us to vintage aftershaves. If you have them, use them. Better yet, post a picture of them. For me, that means breaking out my Old Spice Musk. It smells great, but burns like the fires of... Oh well, here goes!

Today I finished my shave with a splash of Hâttric Classic. I believe that the scent has not (or hardly) change since the 1980's.

I finally got to try my Gillette NEW SC. I paired it with a Gillette Silver Blue and Stirling MITA. I just had one of my best shaves ever: smooth, close, and nick free. The NEW SC is great. I finished with a great menthol blast of Krampert’s Frostbite. The Stirling Margaritas in the Arctic soap and Krampert’s Frosbite aftershave may be the perfect match for each other relative to scent, performance, and conditioning! Try it, you’ll like it!

Oh, my. If you're a menthol addict, you may want to give this combination some consideration. The Ginger's Garden clay and mango butter soap is rather thirsty, but it lathered like a champ, and is oh-so-cold. The Grass Stain with it gives a nice herbaceous note to it that's very true to the scent. BBS results without irritation in 3-passes, and my face is properly frozen. Hopefully I won't be inured of the effect by week's end.

A very relaxing evening shave yesterday after a morning spent doing a first aid exam. I should find out the results by the end of the week and I'll know if I can provide some more advanced care than I currently can. I felt it went really well so, all in all, a pretty good day yesterday.
