Floris

Hi, since I would like to take advantage of the Winter sale and I am going to pop down the shop tomorrow, could you please tell me the difference in scent/lather between these soaps?

-Elite green woody
-no. 89
-JF

I was going for the first one but did not read many positive reviews online

I have the new floris 89 soap & its very good. Is it worth the price, that's up to you.

I just got my Elite and No.89 soaps in the post (haven't tried them yet). Scent-wise, Elite is more of a peppery smell than 89.

Is it true that Floris has re-re-reformulated their soaps so that they're good again?

The scents are all very nice. Elite and No. 89 are more heavily fragranced than JF IMO. Performance-wise, they are all very good as well. I prefer Elite, then No. 89, and then JF.

The current formulation is very good. I'd even say excellent. The only downside to them is the price IMO.

That's good to hear. Is there any way to identify the current formulation to ensure that you don't get the bad stuff?

When does the sale end?

Looks like floris usa does not offer sales

From floris website:

"This Winter, for a limited time only, we shall be clearing discontinued packaging lines at up to 50% off their original price."

This seems to imply they are trying to clear old stock/previous formulation

i've only used the jf, which was very nice.

I have the cologne samples of each, can anyone tell me if the soap smells identical to the cologne?
