Musgo Real colognes

Hi all. I'm still relatively new to this so I don't have the language as yet - please excuse me.

I've recently bought the Musgo Real Orange Amber cologne. I like the scent, but it doesn't smell strong enough for my liking - I have to make a real effort to be able to smell it on myself.

My question is, does anyone know if this is the same for the other Musgo colognes? I was thinking about buying the Lime Basil, but if it's no stronger than the Orange Amber I think I'm going to give it a miss.

Thanks.

The same with the spiced citrus. It's a skin scent almost as soon as I splash it on. Which makes it a good office scent. If I want that citrus vibe, I amp up to Crabtree & Evenlyn's West Indian Lime, which is much heavier on the lime but lasts and projects a clean aura during warm-weather months.

The Musgo colognes are more like "cologne waters." They(Musgo cologne & A/S) stay nice and close. The #2 Oak Moss is brilliant and has a scent similiar to ToBS Jermyn St line. Just because YOU can't smell it doesn't mean others around you can't.
If you require a larger radius, many of these classic selections may not be for you. This would include:

DR Harris line
Musgo Real
Taylor Of Old Bond St. Lime & 74
YSL Rive Gauche
Acqua di Parma
Agua Lavanda
Jockey Club

Just to name a few.

These tend to "stay close." There are other selections(most modern) that have longer legs and better projection

kaizen, I totally agree with you about the Musgo products, but not so much on some of the others. TOBS Mr. Taylor, for example, has projects pretty well from my skin. (Longevity is another issue.)

Mr Styptic, I have not tried Mr. Taylor(really want to) and was basing mine off the few we have here at work. Old 74 & 74 Lime.
I should have been more specific.

BTW, I do not work for any shaving related company. We just have shaving gear in our dealership boutique.

Yes, I understand that other people maybe able to smell a fragrance even if I can't, but I'm spending the money for my benefit, not theirs :)

I have several D R Harris products and I have no problem with them.

If you like the Musgo Real Orange Amber and the whole Iberian shaving scene, you might want to take a look what else they have in stock, such as Royale Ambree, Floïd, Varon Dandy, Myrsol, Puig products, Myrurgia Cologne, Alvarez Gomez Cologne, Ach Brito, Antiga Barberia, Confianca etc.

However, the fact remains that the longevity for Musgo Real is quite limited :)

I have musgo oakmoss cologne and while i absolutely love the scent, i echo what others have said... doesn't last very long.

If anyone knows something that smells similar, would love to hear about it.

This trick works well for me. After Musgo Real Classic aftershave application, I use unscented Eucerin face lotion SPF30. It is 3:30 in the afternoon and I can still smell it. (that's 10 hrs!)

for me, the Oakmoss EDC lasts plenty

So you go aftershave, then lotion, then EdC?

No, just the a/s then the Eucerin. My comment about the EDC was a separate one. Sorry

My wife says that any unscented moisturizer will prolong a scent

I have the #2 Oak Moss and #1 on its way. Havent tried it yet tho in terms of staying power so will report back soon

Amber Orange here... and agree with what has been said: I love the scent, but does not last long, especially on my skin. Perhaps there's some hint on my shirt.
