Pehnaligon's Blenehim Bouquet - weak?

I received my samples yesterday evening, and my wife I had a sit down while watching TV to go through the samples and see which she felt she could 'live with' - a few Hammam Bouquet for intance were relegated to the "No way" pile, but she and i agreed that the BB was a good start.

Dabbed on this am - sample remember - no splash - and.... it promptly disappeared on my skin - almost no scent! I used the same amount i have been using of the Trumper samples, but it just faded away.

is this a 'weak' scent, or maybe its my chemistry cancelling it out?

Hmmm...I would have to guess it is a chemistry issue. Fortunately it lasts on me all day. Maybe try a little bit more on another day and see how it works for you.

An all-day powerhouse on my skin, which is true for almost all of the Penhaligon's scents I use.

My wife had the same reaction to Hammam, but she thought BB was in the top 3 out of all the samples I received, but the longetivity wasn't that great for me at least. I suggest you start, simply, by putting a little more on. I have the same problem when I apply cologne by "dabbing." If you have a small atomizer, you can try dumping the sample contents into that and you might get a better result as you will be spreading out the cologne a bit more.

thanks for the comments - I'll try agian tomorrow - I WANT to like this one, and I think it has potential, but if my chemistry neutralizes it... waht a bummer... oh well, 8 other samples to try,. :)
