I just ordered a Nate's Straight razor. This will be my first earnest attempt at using a straight. I had a Thiers-Issard years ago but sold it right after I bought it to help pay for our move to the UK. Anyway, this NS razor has what I feel is unique and pretty interesting spine work. Nate calls it "wrinkle." I really like it, and it sort of reminds me of aspen tree bark. Wish me luck.

Brian that Wacker looks really awesome...love the blade shape and finish details.
Thank you! I saw it and had to have it, all based on looks. I think the Chevalier is probably the most striking modern design in straight razors. The extreme French point combined with the shoulder-less blade just seems to flow so well. Fortunately, its a good shaver now that Doc put his edge on it.
