Christmas Fun With The Kiddo (And an Ahab)

So, my son is turning 4 four days after Christmas. He and Santa are pretty tight, judging by the fist bump seen below.



Well, I created a calendar with an activity for each day in December. The 1st and 2nd ended up getting switched around (1st - Write Letter to Santa, 2nd - Christmas Goodies with Mommy and Mimi), so we wrote a letter to Santa last night.



He also got to use my Ahab to draw a picture on a label for Paw Paw and Mimi's presents. I figured the worst thing that could happen is that the Ahab would work better after he had his way with it.





And yes... He wrote his name all by himself. [proud]

Always a proud moment! My son is four and insisted to sign every Christmas card himself I was one proud father!

Next thing you know, he'll be wanting a calligraphy set for Christmas!

Proper use/treatment of an Ahab, love it!

Part of me feels so proud that he's using a fountain pen.

Another part is so ashamed because he's using an Ahab.

Good times! My son is also 4 and when I sit down to write he likes to get his own notebook and write as well. He's writing postcard with me as well! But, I don't let him use my FP's, he has a habbit of stabbing his books with whatever instrument he is using.
