Derby Double Edge Safety Razor

Has anyone tried the Derby Double Edge Safety Razor from Shaving Factory?

It looks like a Gillette Super Speed and is very affordable. With free shipping and the discount they're offering BB board members, this looks like a steal.

Interesting. Never seen that. One assumes it's made by Parker like everything else, but it doesn't look quite like any Parker I've seen. The scalloped edges on the doors are interesting.....

I chatted with a sales rep, and the razor is made in China. The manufacturer is Korean and the brand is Ming-Shi. It's made of "refined stainless steel, Zinc alloy, copper, ABS"

Where on the webpage does it say the razor is a Derby?

I think we owe you some clarification about the double edge razors:

Brand name is Ming-Shi

The materials used are Refined Stainless Steel, Cinc Alloy, Copper, ABS

Product is made in China and it is not Derby's own DE razor. Actually, Derby does not manufacture any DE razor.

The razor itself is 1.8-2.0 oz. and white.

Well, putting the razor aside for a minute, I have to say I'm impressed with Derby. Not only did I get my question answered instantly via chat, they found this thread and explained everything.

Even if I don't buy the razor, I feel compelled to buy *something* now!
