I've got a Sheaffer fountain pen, as in the photo. The barrel unscrews to reveal a steel tube, inside which is a rubbery dropper-type bulb. The other (non-lid) end unscrews as well.
I've been filling it by doing the above, dipping the nib in ink and squeezing the bulb a few times until it feels full. Is this right? It feels as if I'm doing too much dismantling just to fill it.
