The ultimate goal in wet shaving it the BBS or Baby's Bottom Shave. Well I have come pretty close the last couple days but not when I would expect.

Seems that about an hour after I shave my neck and face seem to be much smoother than just after shaving. I can usually feel some stubble right after I shave but after that hour my face and neck are smooth when I rub with my fingers. I do rub in all directions so it is not like I am rubbing WTG.

Anybody else out there in wet shaving land have the same experience?

By the way, I credit the near BBS to using Kyle's pre-shave routine that he "stole" from the old barber's manual. Thanks Kyle

Could be lots of things, I suppose. The first thing that comes to mind is heat -- if you're not doing a cold water rinse, perhaps the stubble is staying exposed for a bit?

Either way, congrats on the BBS, even if it's delayed!
