Safety Razor Acquisition Thread.

Ordered my first vintage on The Bay. Gillette Slim Adjustable. I have a regular closed comb and a regular open comb so I decided to try something I didn't already have an example of. Really looking forward to trying it!

Well done! My Slim is nice and a guy has to try them all!

I have one that looks like this but the case lining is red. I need to get something to polish it up a little more.

i would think that the case does not go go with it originally.

Awesome! Looks like you're right.

I just gave it 4 baking soda / aluminum foil baths and it turned out pretty good!

The postman was kind to me today. This 1969 psycho razor apparently came from a Montreal prison, so it has some real mileage on it. I cleaned and sanitized it, and gave it a spin this evening before work, and it gave me a great shave!

Though I shave mainly with SE Razors these Days, was tempted by this Adjustable as a companion for my Progress & Futur.
Got it Today, and used it Today !! A Great Shave.
