Well, I've contacted Chris and I'm all set to have him replate my Fatboy in Nickel. Thanks for all of the advice gentlemen, and the pictures to push me over the edge!

I saw a fatboy in a shop today. I don't DE shave (yet?), so I only vaguely knew what I was holding.
It did appear to need this same treatment, a replating. Otherwise it seemed fully functional.
I couldn't imagine doing rose gold or platinum.
What is the original plating metal?
And is Chris still the Guy To Go To?

The original plating is nickel, and Chris definitely is the guy.
