It a hollow grind. I see in the pics where one could come to this conclusion.
That's a great looking razor, Rick. It's always nice when somebody comes up with such a thoughtful present.

Very nice. It seemed to be a bit bigger than my other 6/8 so I measured it and sure enough, it actually measured 7/8.

I need to get one of those templates for measuring the blade width like you showed in your posts Doc
