I love shaving with my Merkur safety razor and Feather blades. However I am thinking about getting a DOVO straight razor to learn a new way of shaving. I am concerned about the different technique and the higher probability of cutting myself. Perhaps there is a YouTube video that shows the right way to use one. I assume the shave is not closer but is a different way of shaving that many enjoy. A barber told me I should practice on a ballon first.
