Box for Straight Razors

I have collected about straight razors and need a place to store them nicely. Does anyone know where I can find a decent (and not terribly expensive) storage box for the straights?

I would prefer it made out of wood but any material really would work.

Larger cigar boxes can be retrofitted to be very nice storage boxes. Also, try haunting estate sales for some nicer women's jewelry chests with the narrow pull out drawers. These can be dragooned into razor storage quite nicely.

I use a 5 drawer Sterilite container. I lined each drawer with rubberized shelf liner so nothing slides around.

I keep mine in a traveling cigar box in TSS silicon sleeves


This is my "shave ready" rotation

I used to use an old wooden velvet lined silverware box. Worked quite nicely.

Say, Has anyone come up with a way to tag or label these silicone sleeves?

I have two as well.
Really great!

Here's mine....took a cigar box and some six foot lengths of pine molding. (Put the bottom spacers in to leave room for silica packs, cases, etc.)

That pine molding is a great idea!

To my shame, I get ever so slightly sick with jealousy every time I see this box. It's a magnificent piece.

It does have a classic wooden Chris Craft Boatload of style doesn't it??? And the containers too

All my razors that are not currently in rotation are in a tupperware bin. But I do go in for some fancy stuff for certain razors. Here is my favorite.

I didn't see a place to buy one of those any idea where to get one?

If you are not one to DIY, I know some folks store them in nice boxes (similar to jewelry boxes) made for fountain pens.
There are some nice ones to be had out there.

Mine go in a antique wooden cabinet w/ glass door so I can see them and blow them kisses throughout the day.
