What's new

Gulp. This is going to be one big doggie.

Nooooo! That hurts just thinking about it:laugh: but I understand perfectly. Yeah boxers are high energy and that's why based on my sound dog math formula two positives should tire each other out. Should.....

Believe me, we don't wan't to do it. Mainly because his dad died post surgery, they think he may have had a clotting factor problem. Admittedly he was also getting his belly tacked to try to prevent possible bloat (dad was the great dane) and his mom had some bleeding issues post puppy delivery. We were fortunate enough that our friends owned both the mother and father so we know exactly where he came from and actually got to witness his siblings being born.

A last goodnite. He played hard today and it was great watching him fade away. Nothing like puppy sleep. Thank you all for the kind comments.

This was my friends Boxer who just passed a few weeks ago. His name was Banner (aka Hulk), he was a big boy, but a softy.

What a sweet boy! Love those glacier eyes. And the fleur-de-lis on his nose. :)

My 11 year-old Beagle puppy ;) went through some health problems this past month. He never stopped wagging through it all, but it's forced me to think on mortality a bit. I'm happy to see a new puppy to remind me what dog ownership is all about. I remember when we took him to get "tutored" (my favorite Far Side cartoon). Good memories. For me, not for Sammy.
