Default Is this a good way to hone a razor?

Found this on another site and was wondering if this is the best way to hone a straight or not

I've found full cream works better than milk. YMMV.

Yeah, I guess it might depend a bit on what quality brick you have. I have a fairly extensive collection, and with my favourite bricks I find that fatty creams work best. Although I've ordered some goats milk now, and I'm curious to see how it stacks up against cow milk.

I gotta say... that was quite possibly, the most immature, and asinine video I have ever seen. It wasn't even funny.... 3 minutes of some clown destroying a razor?

God I hope more high schoolers don't get into straight razor shaving

I have to think that the razor he is using in the video was a razor that was not worth fixing . he looks like he as to many razors to just trash one like that . Personally I would not do such a thing but I must admit it made me laugh .

I know one thing for sure, that Norton he splashed milk on should smell real good after it soaked in and soured.

That razor looked a great deal like the $6 ones on ebay. While humorous, I really hope no youtuber ever thinks this is serious!

Come on Joel! Have a sense of humor. The satire of people spending $100's of dollars on a stone and this guy is using a brick. Sure he gets a bit carried away, but the start had me laughing.

If anybody thinks that is serious they should not have a sharp instrument in their hands and that includes pencils and screwdrivers!
