Online cigar retailers

I live in Canada and I try to support my local tobacconist as much as I can but it's starting to hurt my wallet. I need to find a U.S. online retailer that sells singles and will ship to Canada. SmokingpipesDOTcom looks like a good option. PipesandcigarsDOTcom would have been great but they have a new No International Shipping policy since the recent change in ownership. Are there any others you guys like to use?

Famous Smoke Shop has good prices on most sticks and a pretty good inventory. I've used them several times and have not been disappointed.

I have used Thompson cigar company and cigar international. I am not sure of their shipping policy though. (I looked into it a bit and it does not look like they ship to canada. Sorry!)I received some really good deals through both of them. However I only use them when my local shop is out of what I want.

I use cigarplaceDOTbiz they have fantastic prices and my beloved Gran Habanos!

Hunter, my man, thank-you a million times! This place is awesome! Prices are at least half that of Canadian-taxed-up-the-wazoo retailers and their shipping rates are hard to beat. Damn... still can't get Liga Pravada no.9 and Undercrowns.

Altlantic Cigars looks pretty good because, like 4noggins, they label their international packages with international customers' concerns in mind (wink). However, they seem to be out of stock or backordered on A LOT of things and the shipping rates for Canada are not so great--about three times more than cigarplaceDOTbiz... but I'd still be saving soooo much compared to buying in Canada that it's still worth it.

Unfortunately Famous Smoke Shop uses UPS instead of USPS and actually charges you Customs fees, taxes, etc. up front. Works out to same price, if not more, than buying in Canada.

I appreciate all the suggestions so far, guys. Still need to check out the other places.

Re: ordering from Atlantic Cigars

I've checked off "notify me" on things that were out of stock and it was then in stock pretty quickly. This may be the way that they run some type of "just in time" inventory system.
