How many shave brushes do you own?

Atm i own 2 a Drugstorebrand Boar and aDrigstorebrand Pure Badger. A 30mm WD Synthetic is on its was to its new Home ;-)

I think I am at about a dozen now, about 60/40 boar/badger ratio. A couple are assigned to my travel kits, all the others get use on a random rotation.

A LOT !!!

I presently own 12 brushes - none of them particularly vintage, nor expensive. I think the most I've shelled out on any single brush is for the L'Occitaine Plisson brush, of which I have 2 (keeping one in its box for later!), and that's only a $30 brush. I do have more synthetic bristle brushes than any other kind, a few boar, and only a couple of badgers.

Latest recount is two dozen flat,
that is after 3 left the house about 3 hrs earlier in the "Deep end summer package" to find a new home in California.

Thäter - Status quo.
Shavemac - No longer own any, but will probably add one next year.
Rooney - One subtraction due to shedding, a few additions.
M&F - Had a few come and go from my den and currently have only one. Plan to add more next year.
Paladin - A great addition. Will hopefully add another next year.
Simpson - A few additions. Tulip is shedding badly. Would like to replace it next year.
Semogue - My 1305 bit the dust, and I sold my Cerda.
Omega - Sold my two silvertips.
TGN - Retired the Pure, and use the Finest as an occasional travel brush.

I am pleased to say I'm down to two!
