What did your Old Man smell like?

In the context of this thread, thought I would share what I found on some old spice deodorant today! :001_smile

My dad smelled - and still does, 30-odd years later - of Eau Sauvage. My grandad smelled of Yardley Gold (IIRC) and occasionally pipe tobacco.

I recall something like grease, gas, dirt, and orange cleaner. I knw he had colognes, but I don't recall smelling them.

I love reading around here that Tabac or Arco or La Toja or MWF smells like "old man".

I don't know about you guys, but my old man didn't smell at all like any of that stuff! He smelled like Aqua Vela. :biggrin1:

What about you guys? What did your Old Man smell like?

OLD SPICE or Aqua Velva.

My old man uses Tabac everything so thats a stickler & I now pretty much use most of the tabac range myself, I do remember though he wore Hai Karate aftershave for years and from memory it was very similar to Aqua Velva & Old Spice.

Bay Rum, and later in life, Aqua Velva. Dad would have been 99 years old today. He's been gone 8 years now and there's not a day I don't want to call up and share something with him...
