What struck me about this thread revival is how many of the posters in the original thread (some of whom were true B&B "pioneers")
rarely post here any more. And also the vendor referred to (Charles of QED, himself a wet-shave pioneer as a vendor and manufacturer) is hardly mentioned here anymore, certainly not as frequently as he was just a few years ago.
I suppose this is the natural order of things, but it still leaves me a bit sad.
