    Default Antique Shops

Hey Everyone in the Boston area. Do you know of any antique shops that sell old gillettes? Or are there just none in the area? Thanks.

I haven't looked cause if if I did I figure I'd be in trouble.

One thought is going up to Essex. Its a beautiful area and there are a lot of antique shops, good mix of high end and not-so-high-end. I'm guessing there would be some nice finds up there.
    Cheers, Dave

As a former antique dealer I can tell you this. Ask you antique dealer to call you when they get some razors in. They usually go to local auctions and will be looking for things that they know they can sell to make rent! It has worked for me here in the Houston area very well and I have picked up over a hundred razors for next to nothing.....even a sticky!

How long did it take for them to start really getting them in and calling you Radman? I've done that a few weeks ago with some of the larger shops/malls in my area but have not gotten any calls yet

Some have called me months later and others within a short time. Most auctions are held weekly and different items come through. The main thing is if your dealer knows you want razors he or she will bid on them and get them to their shop. The only thing I warn is that sometimes I have seen dealers get way too proud of a razor that is not worth that much. I set em straight..
