that's interesting. I think the real key is how MUCH people like it - ie some creams you love or you hate, but a huge number of people have them as their goto cream, whereas other creams are ok for everyone but no one loves'em. But that is interesting data and the results seem intuitively sound.

Agreed. Since I'm just beginning this adventure (always wet-shaved, but with goo and a cartridge razor), I wanted some way to prioritize my efforts and reap really good rewards as soon as possible.

It was very telling to read many of the comments and why people like/don't like various products and correlate that to my own experiences--but at least this got me started in considering which products to try . I figure it might help people looking for something different to try as well.
