Another ebay snag in hopes of an awesome razor under the scum. Unfortunately not this time. Once I cleaned this one up, there were flea bites and bad pitting pretty much every where, as well as the safety bar on one side was mangled (not much hope in this area). So I stripped her down to bare brass and started sanding and lapping, with a little extra work I could have re-plated but It most likely wouldn't have looked that great so I figured I needed an evil twin
and paint fixes every thing right? I squared up all the surfaces the best I could without removing mass amounts of material, plated specific areas, masked, shot it with graphite black, oven cured then painted the numbers white.
I know sacrilege but all in all Im happy with it, something different than the usual fatty.
