Haven't tried it yet....Rik. It smells amazing. I can't even guess as to how it shaves...as it is a new formulation with added shea butter. I currently have too many opened.and need to finish something. I really just intended to order a Sandalwood cologne.........but you know how it is

The old formulation Mayan Gold ...without the shea butter is quite hard and I had to melt it into a larger pot to help brush loading (I am sure I have said this somewhere before). It does however smell great and shave well.

Ah did you get that at the same ebay auctions as me , hahah auctions 4 u.
I got myself a similar haul kinda with sandalwood and sandalwood cologne and also the men U brush is it a synthetic brush or is it the boar version ?

Only one item arrived today (

) I got the Bay Shave shaving soap from Natural Affinity. It is a glycerine based soap with kaolin clay, olive oil and coconut oil. It is scented with West Indian Bay and Lime Essential oils. The soap itself comes in a nice handthrown ceramic container and it smells out of this world The addition of the Lime to the Bay oil is a winning combination, if this soap shaves even half as good as it smell's I'm onto a winner, if it doesn't I can carry it round with me all day just smelling it.
This was one of the last two available so UK members get onto ebay and the Natural Affinity store quickly!
Assuming the soap shaves nicely, I will be contacting the owner to see about the possiblity of getting some more made up, and maybe trying to get some other scents made as well.
Of course the big question is, how well will this perform compared to the Mama Bear soap?

I most certainly did Rene. I actually went to their warehouse to collect the stuff to save £15 of shipping, the underground in the UK in this heat is terrible!

The brush is the synthetic badger one, it feels pretty good but I haven't used it yet. I also have a boar one from a previous Auctions4u win.
