Green Sea Turtle from Haleiwa Oahu. These massive turtles live over 80 years and can be 400lbs and bigger. I was lucky enough to swim and relax with them 3 or 4 times on my Hawaii trip. This day in particular the turtles decided to head onto the beach when the sun started to set; apparently they like to bake in the sun before dark hits.

A shot provided by my daughter (Director of Microscophy at Univ of KS...ok I am a proud Papa). She and I both have occasional kidney stones. She was able to procure one and did a surface scan.
No wonder the damn things hurt so bad when they move.......
