Fusion reprise

Found myself in the unfortunate position of having a power-cut in the middle of the night last week. Result? Alarm clock failed to go off at the designated time and with 1 hour less to play with I gritted my teeth and reached for my old fusion that I have not used in 4 months and a tin of Noxzema Menthol.

I decided to shower as normal, lots of hot water and conditioner. Applied the Noxzema with my fingers and left for 2 minutes and then started shaving. 1 WTG, and x2 XTG, re-lathering in between passes.

Result? Not as bad as I feared it could have been. No nicks or cuts, no irritation.........until later. Felt 'pricking' on my face all day. Got home in the evening ingrowns on my neck. Not really bad, but worse than if I used my Merkur and cream combo.

Think I'll go back to the Merkur and Cyril slater...........

the face get used to a specific razor. after changing you will need some tim for the face to adjust. The warning on Electric Razors is to expect up to a month for the face to adjust. I would think blade to blade would take less.

I tried my old sensor and had a problem similar to yours ( but liked it enough to stay with it)
