Default Best Lavender Options Part II: Soaps

    Hey Folks,

I wanted to break this up- one for creams, one for soaps... If I forgot one, let me know!
    Thanks,

    Rick

I'd be interested in this one as well - my experience with the lavender cream scared me from trying a soap, but I'd be willing to if one was recommended enough...

I disagree..... DR Harris is good - but T&H smells better and works better, and Eshave smells better and works better....

If you're talking scent, Charles' lavender soap is like stuffing lavender flowers up your nose. And I mean that in the best possible way.

I've really got to pick up some DR Harris soap.

I have tried Eshave and DR Harris. I pick the Harris on shave quality and eshave on scent. So does this vote even count?

I have a puck of AOS waiting in the wings.

Does the DR Harris soap smell like the cream?
The Harris Lavender does not have a strong lavender scent. It has a clean scent that doesn't really have much fragrance, if that makes any sense.

I have the eshave Mandarin and think it's a good soap, but I hardly ever reach for it. Is the Lavander any different performance-wise?

Yeah - it's got shea butter. The diff scents are all formulated a little differently. The lavender and the avocado oil/linden are much better than the mandarin in my opinion.

Oh my, that reminds me of the gentleman who recently stated he will never touch anything lavender for fear of shrinking testicles and developing man boobs

Castle Forbes. I have not used their Lavender, but I really like their shaving creams.
