Here is another, very different approach to a 'mongoosian' themed brush. Lauren added a feather as a tribute to the blades we use in the razor. We hope you find these photos entertaining.

I would never select Titanium for a handle. Not bad machining, I would be very interested to see how a Ceramic tip would handle this metal. A ceramic tip is so light, you dont know you are holding it between your fingers. It will only work at very high surface speeds. I machined a 2.5 inch dia. hydraulic ram at 2000 rpms. The swarf came off burning with lots of heat and sparks. The ceramic tool bit cut thru the hard chrome surface structure like it was butter. Absolutely fascinating.
 
Yeah that's stunning! Your bride has gold in her fingertips. The shapes of both handles are fantastic too. I've found this shapes works best with my hands, for face latehring.

So what's the deal, is it painted wood?
 
Received three new hand made brushes today. Shown here pre bloom. These are made by a retired Vietnam Vet and shaving blog member.
