Hopefully, within a few months I will have tried close to every blade available.

I would be so confused remebering them all. For me I had enough choices with my sample pack from westcoast.

It's exciting to try them all, but just remember: While you might find five or six favorites, you're also going to find ten or twelve stinkers, too. Those shaves won't be much fun.

That's what's kept me from trying some of the ones I have but haven't even tried!

Gillette Platinum (Swede) - My favorite, smooth, sharp, long lasting, perfect (I've gone through about 25-30 I think)

Derby Extra - my go-to. cheap, sharp enough. It's my locker-room blade.

Merkur - hated it. I couldn't get through an entire pass. Tried again 6 months later, same story.

Wilkinson white label - felt like a derby extra. pretty nice!

Feather - great blade, but not as smooth as Gillette swede. also not as durable

Gillette Bleue Extra - Nice blade, but too smooth, and not aggressive enough. left too much behind.

Israeli Platinum - Tried one WAY back in DEC. '06. felt similar to Derby, but not quite as nice for my face. I need to try one again since I'm not such a n00b now. I gave away like 20 of them to 2 DE convert friends of mine.

Wal Mart Personna - certainly better than the Merkur. Nice blade depository.

Bic Greek - HATED IT. Worst shave I've had in '08. Like the Merkur, but not as bad.

Eversharp - Appreantly Schick made these in the 70's. I love them. comparable to the Swede, but discontinued. I have like 5 left. :(
