Kayaking In The Bay

As some of you may know, I'm currently going to school at DLI in Monterey, California, and what you may not know is that the installation is literally a twenty minute walk from the ocean. Today, me and a few buddies decided to try out a kayak rental service they have, and spent the better part of six or seven hours out in the ocean. Definitely a great deal for about $30, which covered the kayak, wetsuit, life jacket, etc. I'm sitting in my chair right now, and my body is still thinks it's being rocked around by waves

Any other kayaking enthusiasts out there? Also, what other ocean-related activities would you guys recommend I try out while I'm here?

Kayak fishing!

One of my best buddies use to teach there. He still lives in PG and often fishes out of his kayak in the bay.

I used to ride up to my marina, get in the kayak for a few hours in the Puget Sound, then ride home. made for a great day. I miss being able to do that. kayak fishing is another good one.
