How much is too much? My C&E best badger brush continues to lose hair after several weeks of use. It has lost a total of maybe twenty hairs. Am I being too rough? Is anyone else seeing this? My Shavemac lost a whoppin' one hair and I have used it more than the C&E brush. When do I complain?

Mine has been doing that ever since I bought it. When the essential comes out, I am going to look into returning it. Problem is, it looks like the old BBB might no longer exist. Now, the C&E website just has a small best badger brush. I cannot tell if that has been renamed or if it is a different, smaller brush. I e-mailed them to check and will post what I learn.

I think the C&E Best Badger is also the small one. I think this is the one I ordered, and it said on the website that this is their most popular brush.

If it continues to shed it might be like shaving with my cat...

How many hairs does it lose per shave?

I am very happy with the brush. I'm just wondering what is acceptable and if the shedding will eventually stop.

I could not say how many bristles per shave it loses. sometimes none, sometimes I notice one sticking out the top after a shave. It would definitely average at less than one per shave.
