    Default Professions in real life?

I'd like to know what your professions in real life are.

I'll start by saying that I am a technology account manager with a 35 year old $1.3B company. I sell technology to businesses and help design data networks, & call centers in complex campus style environments such as bases for the US Navy, The Boeing Company, and Microsoft.

    Default Anthropologist

Hi, I'm an anthropologist, currently on the job market but teaching at the University of California. I also would like to add I didn't think I'd see anyone else from Perris on this forum. I grew up there, but left back in 1988.

Go bears! My family and I just moved from Berkeley to Princeton for my new job. We sure do miss the weather right about now.

I am a partner in a small consultancy specializing in business to business marketing and communications. We are based in Sydney, Australia. Clients range from multinationals in areas such as engineering, manufacturing, transportation and law, to local startups. The nice thing about being small is being selective - working with business and people who we admire and get pleasure from contributing to their success. Most days I like my work. Some days I love it.

    Cheers

    Jeremy

I am a systems engineer for a managed healthcare company. Chances are that a sizeable percentage of American B&B'ers are covered by our networks.

Elementary school counselor. It is very rewarding but also very emotionally draining, especially at a Title I school.

Although, I have not responded to other such posts, the number of scientists in this thread compels me to add that I am professor of biochemistry, specializing in structural biology, at a biomedical research institution.

To bobk455: let me know when you come across a good Boesendorfer or Grotrian that seeks a new home. The bigger the better!
