Anyone know of a good leave-in hair conditioner? I've used Aveda in the past, but would prefer something less expensive, especially if made by one of our artisanal makers. Thanks!![]()

It is not less expensive, but I just love the leave in stlying conditioner from mop.

Is it an insult or a complement when my girlfriend says I smell like a grandfather... ;-)

Short for modern organic products. I love their hair stuff, but again it is not less expensive as Aveda.

2nd for Brylcreem. A tube lasts forever. I usually leave it in a hotel room accidently before it actually runs out.
Pravana makes some nice products.

I have been using Infusium for years (both the shampoo and leave-in conditioner). I have very fine hair, so Infusium gives it a lot of body when blow-dried. I think a bottle is aorund $10, but it is frequently on sales for around $6. I think you should be able to find it any any drug store (Walmart and Kmart carry it) Costco also has it from time to time.
tail and mane conditioner.can be used as a rinse out or leave in.if you leave it in it also adds a bit of control to your hair.it is fairly inexpensive and lasts for ages and has a nuetral scent.
A little lighter than Brylcreem is Groom & Clean. It's neither greasy like Brylcreem nor crunchy like hair gel; it's what I usually use. Lighter still are the various "Tonics."
soy tri-wheat leave in!
I think it's made by big sexy hair? I use it and it's VERY nice.
Mayonaisse is a very good dry hair conditioner. Comb in about half a cup on damp hair, cover with a towel or cling fllm, leave in for 20 minutes, rinse and wash. Obviously it does smell a bit while it's on, but the results are worth it and of course it's very cheap.
Nothing to add here, just thanks for this thread. My daughter's hair is very fine, and I've been looking for a good leave-in conditioner for her. The options on base are pretty limited. This gives me some products to look into, thanks!![]()
