So,
Finally got some stuff ordered a couple of weeks ago, and have finally gotten around to using all of my new soaps and creams. Here are my thoughts on what I've used.
CO Bigelow.
-oddly enough, this so far has been my favorite. Easy to get a hold of. I dig the menthol tingle. Lubrication feels like it's there. Smells great; has a "classic" smell without smelling, "like an old man," as my wife puts it.
Speick Stick
-second favorite. There's something about the smell that I just can't get enough of...woodsy, clean, manly. The wife loves the smell of this one. Lube isn't as great as I believe it could be, but I'm playing around with the lathering techniques.
TOBS Sandalwood
-I'm surprised at the fact that I don't really care for this one. I usually gravitate to woodsy, musky, man smells, but this one, for me, smells too much like a floral soap. The shave was great, and the quality was there, but even the wife doesn't like the smell of this one.
Ogallala Lime and Peppercorns
-Bought this because I wanted a mix of things, and after smelling the AOS Lemon, thought this would be something close to try at a small investment. This is the wife's favorite. I like it, but I've had a hard time picking up the note whilst and after shaving. My wife has reported that after I use this soap, she can smell it throughout our room all the next day. Lathers good, lubes ok. Will I buy this again? Prob. not. Bar note is of clove and lime.
Ogallala Bay Rum
-Again, bought this one to make a mix of things. Very strong clove smell, with a hint of Rum. Wife doesn't care for this one, and I am undecided on what I think. Again, lathers good, lubes ok. Will I buy this again? Prob. not.

Sorry for the long post, just thought I would share my experience. As always, YMMV. If y'all have any suggestions, based on what I've shown preference for here, I would greatly appreciate it. I also would like to mention, that as aftershave, I use the Gillette aftershave (fresh, with a hint of lemon), followed up with a spray Marc Ekco Blue.
