    Default T&H Fragrance Equivalents

    Please help...

    I found the thread detailing common equivalents for T&H fragrances and for the life of me I can't find it again!

    I've tried searching from within B&B and using google but I just can't find it again

    T&H is a well-established house, but why T&H my friend?

    xillion - that's the one, many thanks - I've bookmarked it now.

    Lamb - it's just that I have a T&H sampler and I remembered that many of the frags were very similar to more mainstream (and less expensive) labels

    Off the top of my head:

    Spanish Leather = Davidoff Zino
    Clubman = Polo Sport
    Freshman = Cool Water
    1805 = L'eau D'Issey
    Grafton = Tsar VC&A

    Can't recall the others..

    Thanks Tim, that's a great summary. Now I just need to find an equivalent to Spanish Leather.

    I'd like to try Tom Ford's Tuscan Leather, but not at those prices!

    Spanish Leather is a clone of Zino which can be had for under $30. Great scent.

    Tuscan Leather is a whole other league and an outstanding frag.

    Spanish Leather, for me, is the best T&H scent. If you like that one, you might also try Floris Mahon Leather which I like even better compared to the T&H equivalent. Mahon Leather is a bit pricier though.

    I don't get any similarity between T&H Grafton and Rive Gauche. Grafton is green, green, green with spice at the beginning and it dries down a little woody but still green. Maybe some similarities because it still is a fougere but two completely different scent to my nose. I suppose it's a YMMV thing.

    Think I'll give Zino a whirl, the Floris is still too rich for me!

    Thanks for the input everyone

    I see, thanks.

    I think that Grafton is close to Tsar by Van Cleef & Arpels.

    You may be right on that one. I am going off of memory and it's been ~3 years since I originally performed the analysis.

    Yeah, I think you are right, this is a closer match now that I think about it. It's greener like Tsar is.
