    Default FT...B&B 2006 Finest Brush (Ebony)

    In light of passing my C&E Best Badger brush to my son for Christmas and the fact I'm a fan of smaller brushes, I'm interested in trading my 2006 B&B Finest in ebony. I'm in the market for a comparable brush in terms of:

    * Knot...the B&B is 23mm but a bit smaller or larger would be OK.
    * Knot density...it's all about density, isn't it! This is where the B&B shines!
    * Hair grade...the B&B Finest is, well...Finest!
    * A bit less loft...the B&B's knot has a loft of 60mm. I'm thinking something around 45mm - 50mm.

    The signature display tube and care instruction sheet are included.

    What'chya got?

    Wow!...115 views, but no replies. I swapped out the base picture for one that shows there is no pitting.

    Somebody's has to 'need' this brush and have something for trade...right?

    They're great performers...very luxurious! I just find myself using smaller brushes more. Guess I may have to wait for the B&B Essential!

    It may come down to that...but I haven't given up on a trade deal quite yet! But then again...selling it would give me some extra $$$ for the Essential.

    Isn't the Essential going to be a bigger brush? And why would you pass up silver-tip for best?

    The Essential will be substantially smaller, with a 19mm knot. As for Silvertip vs Best, those designations vary by brush maker, and are very hard to meaningfully compare.

    Not to mention that different people have different preferences, meaning that the most "expensive" hair type may not be suitable.

    The essential uses "finest" hair - which is a fully untreated/uncolored or bleached hair, that is quite luxurious.... quite a bit different than best badger.
