I've tried it (just the EDT) and found it was nice, but didn't impress me like its reputation led me to believe it would. It just seemed a little safe, if that's the right word.

I can see girls liking it on a guy, but that's why I have Endymion.

I hear that it's similar to Bulgari Black, albeit without the 'rubber' note.

I agree - its nice, but that's about it. But I'm not a fan of scents that are too sweet, and for me this one straddled the border of acceptably sweet and too sweet.

I was going to suggest Endymion to the OP as one he might want to try as well. (Also just a tad too sweet to me.)

MIP was disappointing for me. I found it a bit too feminine.

I've compared MiP to Bvlgari Black.

Both are VERY similar, except that Bvlgari Black has more of a masculine scent due to its more rubbery and tar notes.

I've been told by a girl at work that with MiP, I smell like baby powder. Which is an unfortunately quite accurate comparison IMHO.

Both are very decent though.
