Hello fine people of the NIB;

I'm just getting into FP's and am interested in what you, veteran and new members, are collecting.

I have followed a lot of threads here and notice someone will say " I have xxxx pen " which will be followed by a " pics? " post.

So dig out your collection and snap a pic. Maybe it will spark some good conversations, and let a noob like me see some of the great pens you guys/gals cherish.

Inks, paper, wax seals etc. are welcome as well.

Your going to regret that, or maybe I will, last time Brian did this, a few questions asked about his collection by me, answered by Dave, ended up pushing a "cart" from a 50 dollar order to a 350 dollar order all because of a "whats that ?" harmless little question

I've been pretty good at keeping AD's in check. I don't make a lot of money so I have to buy wisely.

You have a real nice collection James. Some of those I recognize, some I don't. What's your favorite one?

Maybe you can post a pic from your thread? I would like to see what you collect. I went through as many pages as I could, looking for a collection thread. Guess I didn't go far enough.:biggrin1:

I like different pens for different reasons, My pelikan is perfect for work because i can see just how much ink is in it, and it always writes, its easy to clean since the nib unthreads, but i love my MV and my conklin as well, for fancy stuff i like the calligraphy pens enough i would like to upgrade a few of them into a nicer pen

I think this year im done with new pens for a while though, im going to start looking into vintage goodness the conklin is something ill be watching out for, be patient and wait out a good price, a few other things out there i am on the hunt for as well

also i am beginning my hunt for something that either has amazing flex or can be made into a flex nib, something to do spencerian with

some of my pens are good, but im hunting down the great ones now so we will see where that collection ends up in a few months lol

Add a FC B&B Essential, Pelikan 200 and a Waterman Expert II to this box.

Brian whats the clear pen with the white swirls on the far left of the second tray and the red flaked one forth from end of the same tray

Edison Pearl Demonstrator is the clear one and the other is a Conklin Glider, celluloid from the Chicago era

Thanks Brian. Does this represent what falls out of the couch cushions ? ( like the saying about change )

Here are mine. I just started this collection in March of 2011 because of this site. Little did I know what I was getting myself into!
