Shave of the Day (SOTD) Sunday December 30, 2012
proxy.php
• Prep: Brush soaked in warm water, face washed with Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Anti-Blemish Cleanser, luke warm shower
• Razor: Edwin Jagger DE89L
• Blade: Feather Hi-Stainless
• Brush: Vintage Fuller restored with TGN 18mm Super Silvertip
• Soap: Tabac
• ASB: Nivea Sensitive Skin After Shave Balm (old forumla, German made)
• AS: Krampert's Finest Acadian Spice Bay Rum
• Post: Cold Water Rinse, Double Splash of Aftershave

I have not used the DE89 in a while and I am trying to decide if I want to purchase a more expensive Mühle (because I like the handle), even though it is the same head. The shave was excellent but I am not sure if it warrants me spending a fair amount of money on another razor.

My skin has been real dry lately so not only did I use the Nivea today, but also the Krampert's. I really need to use the Acadian Spice more often, as it smells great and offers superior skin conditioning.

Prep: Hot shower with Nivea Face Scrub

Cream: Penhaligon's Endymion
Post Shave: Cold water rinse, Myrsol Metilsol Astringent AS Splash

Pre shave Clearly Natural unscented soap w/ Hot towel for a rinse.
Shave Secret PSO w/ another hot towel.
C.O.Bigelow in an Old Spice Hull Pottery mug (circa 1944). Omega 100066 boar brush.
German travel razor.(No name just "Made In Germany"). Red Personna (1st). WTG, XTG>, XTG<, ATG.
Cold rinse followed by Dickerson's witch hazel.
Lea aftershave balm followed by Barbasol Arctic Rush aftershave.

Really close and smooth shave. For sure BBS. This tiny German razor has BALLS... The Red Personnas have been an OK blade for me. Must say the blade sure did perform tonight. I'm thinking my smallest razor has the biggest teeth.... Shave is as good as the shaves from the Auto Strop. I picked the Acrtic Rush just for the FREEZE... BURRR Nice!!!

HAPPY SHAVES EVERYONE !!!

Mine will be my freshly replated NEW, Gillette yellow, C.O
Bigelow / Proraso white tub, cold rinse/ cucumber witch hazel rinse and Old Spice A/S
