Simpson 2-band vs. Simpson 3-band and best.

Do any of you have the same Simpson model in 2-band and another hair type? Are they essentially two distinct brushes, or do they feel like you have two of nearly the same brush?

They are different even though they are similar in size and loft.

I have started moving more to the Simpsons brushes in the standard "best badger" for some reason.

To me, very different. The 2-band is much better and softer.

I prefer 2 Band. But, Best seems to lather hard soaps better

Prefer 3 band due to the density. For 2 Band the hair tip is softer but the knot just not dense enough for me.
I enjoy the feeling of thick and dense brush swirling on face more.
I also found that the bulb shape of Simpsons 2 band is better for making lather on face with painting style than than swirling.

Thank you for your responses. Pretty much what I experienced. As time goes by, my affection for Simpsons Best just grows and grows.

Same here Ted. And when a want that silky soft feel I go for my Super 3 band.

I have Duke's and Chubby's in various hair, they are very different.
