What's the best shower shaving mirror?

I would appreciate members sharing their experiences with these mirrors so I can get the very best one.

Thanks, Bill

This guy seems pretty happy about it lol

I'll be watching this thread. I would love to be able to shave in the shower again, as I did in my cartridge days, but the "fogless" mirrors I've tried don't even come to close to giving the visibility level I would need to feel comfortable using a DE in the shower.

Thanks for the suggestion, guys.
I also really like the fact that the manufacturer of the mirror you suggest makes a travel mirror.
I'm almost positive I'll get the travel mirror. Getting a great shave on the road is really nice too! Here's the link >>>>

I'm also looking at the mirrors that attach at the shower head such as the ones sold by ShowerTek.
Once they're attached, it would seem they're virtually hassle free.

The original with an acrylic mirror is $20. A two-sided (1x and 3x) tempered glass is $100. Yes, $100!!
Both are currently out of stock. I'll have to call them to see what else besides the glass adds $80 to its value.

I also think I'll check with a couple of plumbers to hear if they've heard anything from their customers on this subject.
My guess is that a plumber may have installed one or two of these things.

Ive had that exact toilettree shave mirror for over 3 years now. It is by far the best shower mirror out there imo. The adhesive is wonderful, no movement whatsoever, yet it does come off with some effort if u chose to move it for some reason. (it didnt tear up anything either, just left some residual adhesive, which just pealed right off)

Filled with warm water, it never fogs up, and the black tray at the bottom fits a razor perfectly, but only for in between passes, and in/out of shower. I left my beloved EJ89 on there, and was accidentally knocked off by the mrs, and broke my first of 2 EJ's now. :(

this gets my highest recommendation, its top shelf product imo. Not a single complaint.

It is helpful to get a small suction cupped shower caddy, that u can keep your soap mug, and brush in, very handy. I kept that stuff in the shower.

The best mirrors are by Mirror Brot or French Reflections or Baci. There's another brand you can buy from decorative hardware and plumbing showrooms, but I don't recall the brand.
There is another company called Electric mirror and I believe they're developing a lighted, fog free recessed medicine cabinet. One of my favorite brands is called Samuel heath. They make beatiiful bath fittings and accessories.
Or you can go for a Ginger or Motiv tilt mirror and treat the glass with rain x. That's what I'd do if you don't care about magnification.
The french reflections are available in 3 and 5x optical quality glass. You need to see them to appreciate how amazing they are.
I've been in the decorative plumbing and hardware industry for 20 years. If you need a referal, pm me

I have this cheapy, and it works really well: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004VFXVJW/ref=wms_ohs_product_img

The key with a shower mirror is to run it under the water & warm up so condensation/fog don't collect on it. If it fogs a bit, just rinse/warm it & it goes away.

I use a cheap dollar hand held mirror and the key fix for fog is one small drop of shampoo

Rub the shampoo across the surface of the mirror, rinse it off and you will have a fog free mirror...

I bought the travel size mirror ($17.95) made by the same company that makes the mirror KorrMuraan suggested.

Thanks, KM!!
I'm very happy with my purchase and I'll probably use this one for at-home and travel.
It works. The suction cups hold firmly yet the mirror is easy to remove from the wall.
I just need to be aware of the potential for extra water usage.
So, I have something in the shower that's plastic and will collect water to be used to rinse the razor during the shave.
Voila!!

This one's apparently amazing according to reviews.
I've got it in my wishlist for Christmas ;)

I realize how old this thread is but I have to comment. If you have a fixed light (which i do not) within the shower, then a fixed mirror is fine. I recommend against a mirror that hangs under or even near the shower spout. But 20 years ago I purchased a telescoping mirror that I swear by. It fell a few times due to my own rough handling and the assembly broke at some point, but the mirror is STILL good (it's plastic). Again, if you have a fixed light this might be unnecessary, but the only light i have in my shower is daylight from the window (there's ample light from the regular bathroom light outside of the shower, but nothing inside). Look up "magi-mirror" in google for this excellent mirror. It has suction cups to adhere to the wall and it's both extendable and adjustable. It's double sided: one magnified (which I NEVER use). Here is a link to the amazon link, but I am currently trying to find one cheaper. OH and it comes in a pouch if you want to travel with it. Magi-Mirror Telescoping Travel Mirror

I got this one for Christmas last year and it is awesome! As you said, holds great, easy to get off, never fogs up. Phenomenal!
