Anyone Else Like Pal Zileri Classic?

I was waxing nostalgic today about Pal Zileri, a fragrance I started wearing 9 or 10 years ago. I used to get it at Nordstrom, but one day it disappeared and they told me it had been discontinued. Turns out they were wrong.

The designer's own description of the fragrance:

"The zestful head opens with the vivacious and delicate citrus notes of Bergamot of Calabria and Lemon of Sicily. It harmonically merges with the slender bouquet of Lilly of the Valley and Jasmine. The fragrance then closes with a precious balance of Indian Sandalwood, Cedar, and Tonka Bean, all of which are embraced by an amber-scented and musky nuance."

I lack the sophisticated nose to confirm whether that somewhat over-the-top description is accurate. However, I can say with confidence that the fragrance smells great on me and that I received lots of compliments when I used to wear it.

While the Pal Zileri online shop doesn't ship to the US, I did find it for sale from what appears to be a respectable online vendor. I should have my bottle on Tuesday. Very much looking forward to wearing this fragrance again.

Pal Zileri makes some good fragrances. Nordstrom used to carry several of them years ago.

Nordstrom was the only department store where I ever found Pal Zileri. When they no longer offered the brand, I was very disappointed. Sadly, their sales rep misinformed me that the brand was discontinued rather than telling me Nordstrom had just stopped carrying it.

Several years ago, the Nordstrom near me carried well over 150 mens fragrances. Now they pretty much carry the same selection as Macy's.....
