My wife is Japanese, and has this amazing nail clipper than I would always make fun of because it looks like something someone would buy at a Dollar Store or in an airport convenience store. She said her dad always had the same one since she was a kid. I haven't seen it in a long time, because we have separate bathrooms, and I use my own Tweezerman clippers, which are good enough. So, today, I chipped a nail, and asked her to get a clipper (I am on crutches from a knee operation last week). She brought out the cheap-o looking clipper, and when I looked at it, I gasped. The gold logo on it was two feathers. Having recently immersed myself in the world of wetshaving, I instantly recognized the logo from Feather blades (which I haven't tried, but just ordered).

Just a funny story I though I would share. However, they are truly amazing clippers. SHARP (as one would expect). I imagine they never dull. Definitely way better than my Tweezerman's. You can find them on ebay for about $2-3. Recommended. ClassicShaving carries a "newer" model called PaRaDa. They're ugly, but I'm sure get the job done.
