open comb grafco safety razor

Picked up an open comb 3 piece safety razor today, and the only markings on it are GRAFCO GERMANY. The handle has a Mercury head on the base. I haven't been able to find anything about it. Thought it might be an old Merkur but I'm not sure. I don't have a camera to post any pictures, so my description will have to do. Any help is appreciated. Thank, KES

Is it locked?

I have one that looks like a Merkur closed comb and it's a psycho or prison razor.
The key goes up through the handle where the knob would untwist on a Merkur HD.

An open comb version would be amazing.


Merkur made many razors for other companies and I'm sure Grafco is one of them.

They made Hoffritz and Coles and probably Adams branded razors too.

Does it look like this? If so, it's most likely a Merkur rebrand. I like the shaves from it. A tad bit more aggressive than the current OC offerings from Merkur.

It's the same one, and a few days later I located another one. Nice one to have.
