What are the differences in

Like many things, shaving, it's mostly a matter of preference.

Triple milled soaps are harder (and therefore last longer). Come from larger manufacturers who have the necessary equipment and come in much fewer scents. Triple milled often have glycerin in them as well. There are large differences between the major companies products but they are pretty much all excellent.

Glycerin soaps are more typically from small artisan soap makers who excel at adding delicious scents (and sometimes exotic things like bentonite or kaolin clay). While there are some folks making "shaving" soaps who probably shouldn't, the folks you'll see here do a great job (Colleen, Sue, Sue and.... oh yeah, Sue... etc). There are also some larger companies making glycerin soaps. Many folks here like Col. Conk and most folks who've tried it do not care for Burt's Bees (glycerin shave soap)

Which ones are for you? Only you will be able to figure that out but reading the reviews here can be helpful.

Enjoy!
