Am I the only one to notice Dan's post dates back to June?

Regardless, a very belated welcome to you, Dan.

    Welcome Dan,

We may have a couple of things in common. My oldest son is an Entomologist (mites are his specialty) and I love cigars

I'm glad to see there are other cigar smokers here. Any particular type you enjoy? I'm partial to Fuentes and Padrons. With the occassional Ramon Allones thrown in. Welcome!

    Thanks for the welcome everyone!

I got into entomology quite by accident, but I've really enjoyed it. My area is mosquitoes (I'm the director of a Mosquito Abatement District).

I really enjoy a good cigar, but I seem to be slowing down in my consumption of them. I get on a kick where I'll smoke one or two a day for a while, then I may not smoke any for a month. It probably has as much to do with shaving gear taking up a sizable chunk of my "fun" money nowadays.

    Thanks!

I used to smoke a lot of Fuente 858's, but I tend to smoke more Punch cigars than anything now. However, sometimes I'll order a few bundles of the JR Cigar "Alternatives". They aren't too bad for "cheap" cigars.

I generally prefer stronger cigars around a 50 ring guage and 5.5 to 6.5" in length.
