Robert Klaas razor

Hi there,

I have recently bought my first razor from Robert Klaas.
A have two bismarks from dovo.

What do you think about robert's razors?

It surprised me since I got a very good shave straight from the box.

I tried to found a catalog on the net, but I actually did not find
even a web page from the company.

Uh, and how about the DOVO FAVORIT?
Can anyone share its impression on this one also?

Klaas made the kissing Cranes brand of razors and knives. He had also bought the brand name to Hen and Rooster when they went under. Klaas also went under several years ago. For the most part Klaas is considered second rate when it comes to cutlery in general. I have one of his razors and though it shaves good its not one of my favorites. I find it shaves a tad on the rough side.

I had my first shave on a Klaas that I just bought on ebay. It is blade model 81 in 6/8ths width. I found it easy to hone to good edge and it gave me a comfortable BBS shave. It has a different balance and feel that my Dovos but in no way is that a detriment. It will be in my weekly rotation.
