Thread: Kitayama stone

  1. Default Kitayama stone

Can anyone advise if the Kitayama stone needs lapping when new. The store says it wont need lapping until it has been used several times.

It it worth the investment for a rookie or am I better off with a paddle strop and pastes ?

Go with a paddle. The kitayama doesn't do much for me.

I have the Kitayama and I don't think its anything special. Get a Coticule instead.
