Footwear of the Day

Clarks Norse Wing. Not the holy grail of shoes, but they have broken in nicely, and I do love them.

New Player's shoes. Happy birthday to me!

Birkenstock Alton with Darn Tough socks. The shoes need a polish, so I am noticing.

I can't post a pic yet, because I don't have them, but I'm just so excited about my acquisition of a pair of vintage Florsheim Kenmoor Gunboat Wingtips. Picked up for $50 on Ebay. I'll post a pic as soon as they arrive!

Since it was rainy, today's footwear was a pair of 8" Bean Boots with Georgia Boot Work Socks (unlike their boots, Georgia Boot's socks are made in the USA).

Today it was Red Wing Heritage boots Model 8146 with gray SmartWool hiking socks (not shown).

How are the AE Derbys doing? I have never had a pair of AEs and an wondering about the break in period. I am considering them as a daily wearer.

Hope I can find them on sale!

Shoes of yesterday were my new (and first) pair of AE's, McAllister's in Bourbon. What a nice pair of shoes, and very comfortable. I was concerned, due to reading some info on the last being narrow and long, but the 9D's fit perfect. Shoes for today are a pair of Florsheim Imperial Classico Cap Ox in black. They were on sale on Amazon for $120, and I have a pair of Otavio's that fit very well also, so I pulled the trigger. Not as high quality as the AE's, but a great value IMHO.

AE Parkway in Bourbon. Wearing well. Pretty much alternating days with black AE Park Avenues.

Black Strands. Black Park Aves the day before. Boring, yes.
